The Role
The Quality Manager will be responsible for Developing and improving site Quality performance by organising and managing the site Quality Department in accordance with Quality Policy and procedures as laid out in the Quality Manual.
You will be an experienced Quality Manager that focuses on leading and developing your team from the front. Championing right first time and root cause analysis. A process – leader you will be adept at identifying improvement opportunities and working with key stakeholders to deliver improvement.
Duties:
- You’ll be leading the site audit and compliance strategy, supporting stakeholders to deliver effective CAPR and requirements
- You’ll partner the Operations team to ensure right first time, regulatory and customer standards are met.
- You will coach and lead the Quality Assurance team both in the QA laboratory and operations team to deliver best in class service.
- You will support and deliver SAP process improvements.
We’d love to talk to you if you have….
- Experience in Quality role and identified as a Quality specialist.
- Preferably qualified Chemist or similar scientific/engineering based subject
- Previous experience within FMCG environment – minimum of 5 years preferred.
- Understanding of Weights and Measures regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solving
- Strong and confident leader with leadership and management skills to lead a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and able to communicate to all levels of staffs in multiple styles.
- Able to manage/complete multiple complex issues concurrently
- Ability to form working relationships with other managers
- Knowledge of validation
- Knowledge of Medical device products/standards
- Able to affect change
- Good attention to detail.
- Lead auditor preferred, internal auditing experience required.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint plus good understanding of MRP systems
